Northern Flight's International Success: Most Memorable Achievements
From Paris to Berlin ... An Introduction to International Tournaments Anyone who has ever played in one of the international LGBT Badminton tournaments will tell you that this is what Northern Flight is all about. We strive to provide a gateway to players of different abilities to come and enjoy with us these magical tournaments (and the wonderful hosting city) and, ideally, to bring back some medals for Manchester!

International Tournaments are held frequently all over Europe and North America, normally over the weekend, and the format is generally as described below: For larger tournaments: Friday - singles or mixed doubles Saturday - level doubles followed by evening party Sunday - farewell brunch For smaller tournaments: Saturday - singles or mixed followed by level doubles, followed by evening party Sunday - farewell brunch
Tournaments are open to everyone and are generally graded as follows:
A = county/very strong club players, typically with lots of tournament experience; B+ = strong club players, typically with tournament/ local league experience; B- = intermediate players, typically with some tournament/ local league experience; C = beginners or improvers, typically with little or no tournament experience.
